An updated online presence for Coventry Cyrenians

Website design for Coventry Cyrenians.

Coventry Cyrenians are a small independent charity, who for half a century have provided supported housing for the homeless. Their aim is to give people not just a roof, but also the support they need to live independently in the future.

Website development and design.

After working on an Annual Report, Coventry Cyrenians asked us totally redesign their website, which had become a bit dated. Our website development and design team’s task was to take new written content and pictures, and come up with something that was more eye-catching and engaging and explain better who they were and what they offered. It also needed to be easy to add to/amend.

The process.

From start to finish in this website development and design process we designed, constructed, tested and launched the site. It’s built around the WordPress Stackable theme so that it is easily editable and user-friendly as well as fully optimised for desktop and mobile viewing.

Website development and design results.

We introduced the four brand colours as well as subtle iconography from the logo. This combination sits alongside the annual report we created, meaning everything is on brand and consistent. All pages are easy to navigate to give the user a clear journey throughout the site, with prominent calls to donate as well as image sliders. A Just Giving Widget is also utilised allowing users to make donations to the charity

The New Fat team also continues to keep the site security up to date and is available to help with maintenance or issues. We also provided the client with training so they could learn how to edit and change content themselves within the WordPress system.
