Barrett Steel is the UK’s largest stockholder of steel. Barrett Steel provide various forms of the metal for construction, engineering and other industries both in this country and abroad.
Brochure graphic design project.
The company wanted a printed brochure to promote their steel tubes division. Drawing on our experience of brochure graphic design, we created an A4 landscape booklet.
Inspiration for our designs.
We took inspiration for the overall look from the angled stripes in the Barrett Steel logo. Thereby ensuring integration with the company’s overall brand visual identity.
The brochure results.
The resulting brochure had an industrial feel, with a mix of dark and light pages. The angled lines in our design continued across the edges of pictures and pages, to create visual interest and a coherent style.
We also made liberal use of icons and infographics to share key statistics about Barrett Steel. Our brochure graphic design featured complex graphics to show how our client could cut, drill or bend tubular steel to order.
This was a job where The New Fat team was able to show true creativity and professional skill, in producing a marketing brochure which was both informative and eye-catching.
